Day 149 – The Wipe-out

Susan and I spent a good part of the day in La Jolla, CA – Windandsea Beach. Beautiful weather, lots of people, decent waves, skimboarders doing their thing; what more could you ask for right? Well, maybe a good wipeout would be nice….

This dude was going at it hard. There were several skimboarders out today but this guy wasn’t holding anything back. By the time he’d meet the next wave coming onto shore, he always had a ton of speed, and I knew if I just waited long enough, something interesting might happen. Bingo! More often than not, he was just really good and didn’t make many mistakes, but the photos from those rides weren’t nearly as interesting.
