Day 319 – Mystic Fountain

While exploring San Diego county last weekend, Susan and I spotted this awesome fountain in the community of San Elijo Hills. I knew I would be back soon to photograph it. Well, that was today.

Since it was lunch time and about the brightest part of the day, I had to throw on a heavy neutral density filter (essentially just shades for the camera) in order to get the desired shutter speed which blurs the action of the water.

Throw a little glamour glow on it in Photoshop and walah…. a mystical interpretation of a neighborhood fountain.

Shot with B+W 6-stop ND filter
4 sec. | f/22 | ISO 50
