Day 245 – Prickly Pear

During the course of shooting every single day for 245 days in a row, I have become keenly aware of the timing of sunsets, full moons, high surf, and other things that can help me get some interesting pictures. Tonight, as I made my way down to San Elijo Lagoon, I was noticing how much earlier the sun is setting. Summer seems to have come and gone so fast! We still have plenty of summer weather left here in southern California, but the days are becoming noticeably shorter and the kids in the “hood” have started school again; all reminders that fall is quickly approaching.
