Day 236 – Bendie Straw Bouquet

I was at a loss for ideas on what to shoot again…

… so I grabbed a bunch of bendie straws I found in the pantry, threw them into a coffee mug and strobed it. As for last minute, no inspiration shots, I’m pretty happy with this one. After reviewing in lightroom and noticing that it looks sort of like a bouquet, I did some processing to bring it more into high key and boosted colors & saturation.

Strobist info:

430EX @ 1/16 power, camera left (8 o’clock)
540EZ @ 1/16 power, camera right (2 o’clock)
1/125, f/4.0, ISO 100

I like! The simplest of things can turn out to look so cool.
