Day 216 – Fletcher Cove Kelp

Susan and I ventured down to Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach with Bailey in tow tonight to ring in the evening. As par for the summer so far, it was another overcast sunset, but dipping your toes in the ocean after work is never a bad thing in my opinion, sunny weather or not.

Fletcher Cove is a great spot, and we’ll be coming back for a “date night” at some point in the near future.  If the name of the place sounds familiar, it might be because this place made headlines across the globe back in April 2008 when a swimmer was killed in a Great White Shark attack (extremely rare in this area).
