Day 199 – Painterly Skies

A serene overlook at Beacons in Leucadia; the closest beach from my house.

Having forgotten my tripod, I had to look around for a spot to steady the camera for this shot, which ended up being a nice flat spot on a wood fence at land’s end. I went with a sort of “painterly” look for something different on this shot. Plus, the skies weren’t fully cooperating, so it needed a little help. There really isn’t a bad evening at the beach, or a bad sunset anywhere, don’t you agree? Many others were taking it in as well, enjoying every last minute of light before starting another week of necessary evils.

Have a great week everybody!
