Day 170 – Tacoma Architecture

Post for Saturday, June 19

We visited the Museum of Glass, which among many other great things, has this eye-catching “cone” which houses the workshop of glass blowers that come to the museum to work and display their art.

The architecture in the area of Tacoma we visited was very diverse and visually interesting. There is a mix of modern newness with old, worn industry. I could probably have strolled around for a couple of hours with no shortage of inspiration for photos; old doorways, trains, suspension bridges, etc.
