Day 89 – Paragliding over the Pacific

If there’s any breeze to speak of, the La Jolla Gliderport is an interesting and beautiful place to spend a little time. Watching the paragliders and the hang gliders soar quietly over this dramatic section of the coast is amazing. You don’t have to be in the air to enjoy it, but that is really fun too!

There’s something about a solitary paraglider against a vast ocean that is so serene. From 200 feet above the water, the view from the cliffs is awe-inspiring. I can only imagine what it looks from under the canopy of your own glider.
