Day 57 – Office Fish

I had a hard time getting this one together today. This cold I’ve been fighting off for days has finally gotten the best of me. I’m lacking inspiration and energy to really put much into it, so here’s some decorative glass fish from my office; shot with a flash gelled blue and a dark vignette.

was this taken in a bathroom? Sorry to hear you’re under the weather. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

Thanks Natalie. Nope, this wasn’t taken in the bathroom. My office is painted a muted blue color, and I use posterboards for the base in pictures like this.

What is it then I’m seeing as a reflection in the fish on the left? It looks like the top of a toilet with some sort of brown object on top…

After looking at the left fish, I can see what you’re talking about, but it’s nothing – probably just the light and reflections working on the transparent glass. It really was taken in my office.

I like it. I have always been partial to both glass and the color blue. I like how you capture the light in the glass.
